Born in Bradford forged in Sheffield and found roving around Doncaster.Here is a man who doesn't seem to stay in one place for very long so it would seem!

"Yeah it seems that way,but I came down from Bradford when I was 23 and lived five minutes from the Wincobank Gym,Brendan told me if I wanted to be Champion I had to make the move.So Sheffield has been home to me for the last ten years,a few years ago I bought a house close to the gym which I still have.Circumstances change,I met a girl from Doncaster so I spent my time between there and Sheffield."

It would seem that Mr Witter has aspirations of becoming a professional football player \and was quite a competant player in his youth.

"Actually Jo my girlfriend is a massive Donny Rovers fan so when I have the chance I go to the game.But for me football is too dangerous you could break a leg or something! Although I like to play once in a while I prefer to fight,if you lose at boxing you only have yourself to blame,with football you can blame the other ten players and they can blame you.In the ring I only have to beat one guy and in training I have to beat myself,which I haven't been able to do so far I think I'm too good lol"
